About
I'm Rick Fry, a technology leader in Fort Collins, Colorado, with more than 30 years in software. For over 20 of them, I've led teams and set technical direction as a development manager, software architect, data engineer and analytics manager.
I still build, because leaders who stay hands-on make better calls. These days that's mostly .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Native AOT) and PostgreSQL, on Linux servers and Windows desktops. I care about software that's fast, secure and boring to operate. When there's a quick fix and a right fix, I take the right one.
Lately I've been leading a different kind of team: a crew of AI agents. They write code and review each other's work, while I set the direction, review the changes and decide what ships. It's the same job as running a dev team, at a very different speed. You can read how that works in A dev team of one human and three AI agents.

- How-tos: short, tested, step-by-step guides.
The name
The name? I wanted something a little nerdy and a little cool. One of my AI agents kept suggesting "wren", and then came up with sudowren.
